Allyssa Burch is a visual artist examining the universal complexities of memory and mourning. Her work in photography, installation, sculpture, and performance, explores the bittersweet notions of connectivity, memory, loss, and the grieving process. Burch completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin, and previously studied movement and dance at Turning Point Dance Academy. Burch has furthered her material understanding at the Corning Museum of Glass, Penland School of Craft, Pittsburgh Glass Center, and the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts. She received her Master of Fine Arts from Ball State University. Burch was an Emerging Artist in Residence at Pilchuck Glass School in 2018, and is currently teaching through Bullseye Glass Company.
