The way an object is worn can tell you about where it came from and the person who used it. Unlike that of objects, a human’s story of endurance isn’t always easily seen. Our strength isn’t solely determined by our exterior build, but rather comes from the pasts we carry within ourselves. I believe in intuition and the inheritance of a collective knowledge that predates our own personal existences. It is in that inherited knowledge that we find the strength to persevere through seemingly impossible situations. It is there that we find comfort to continue on though we’ve lost everything. It inspires empathy and drives us to help those around us who are also carrying the weight of history within their souls.
